Introduction
This course will equip delegates with the skills and knowledge needed to understand the objectives and statutory requirements that pertain to Health & Safety in the workplace. Upon completion, delegates will be able to explain the rights, powers, functions, and duties of a workplace Health & Safety Representative. Furthermore, delegates will be able to explain how do deal with any Health & Safety issues that arise in the correct manner.
Upon Completion, Delegates will be able to:
Describe the framework of workplace Health & Safety legislation in the context of the Health & Safety Representative.
Explain the specific requirements needed to conduct Safety, Health & Environmental Representation activities in the workplace.
Comply with the activities within Safety, Health & Environmental structures

In general, if an employer has more than 20 employees, 1 SHE Representative needs to be appointed. If the setting is in an office or shop, there should be 1 SHE Representative for each 100 employees.
Nominated Safety Representatives who will be serving as Safety Representatives in a company
All Safety Representatives in need of retraining
Management, Supervisors who wish to gain understanding and knowledge of a Safety Rep system.
